Found this excellent site whilst looking up an ammonia problem (established 3 yr old Discus/Birchir 90ukg tank, disrupted 4 weeks ago after the main filter a wet/dry ran low due to a piece of wood somehow in filter mouth/pipeline). It is still unsettled in cycle (high ammonia) and am investigating chloramine even though using own RO system. Nice to know I have most things right (3 years ago the temperature amazed me, but many other fish seem fine with higher temps 82/86 - I have 10 tanks and summer months can get warm). I was unsure as to the high water change rates till I came here, something that now helps me relax (given my ammonia/cycle problem needing more changes than usual). Also the info available on this site is fabulous. So after this long note, I just wanted to say....Thanks!
