Hello Reader
I am Brian Middleton and keeping
Discus for 34 years.
Breeding Discus for 20 years.
I have 40 tanks,
|
20 of 30" x 20" x 20"
10 of 60" x 20" x 20"
10 of 48" x 20" x 20" |
I use large sponge filters (MegaBio) in most breeding
tanks and Pressurised
Keg filters in growing out tanks.
My main interest is in producing perfect Discus, so for this reason I cull
heavily. The Discus breeding hobby is first, and the commercial side is
second. At the moment I am trying to perfect solid red and solid tangerine
fish. Although I have most of the traditional strains also. I have a very
strict water changing regime and change at least 25% evry day in the
breeding pairs and 50% in the growing out tanks. Feeding is with my own
recipe of beefheart mix, Earthworms. Tetra Prima, whiteworm. I do not feed
bloodworm.
