Discus Centrum Amsterdam was established by two discus lovers, i.e. Cor Visser and Willem Bolhoven.

Both of them have been active for years; breeding, keeping and taking care of Discus fish.

Because both of us were looking for a way to expand our hobby, we joined forces and that is how Discus Centrum Amsterdam was created.
We have in our shop 32 tanks with a total of 12,000 liters.
The tanks are separated in 4 racks, each has a central biological filter system.
Further, we have 3 tanks for quarantine.
At the moment we have different kinds of wildcaughts to bring up a new strain.
For the breeding tanks we use RO and for the other tanks we use tap water.
Feeding the adults 2-3 times a day and the youngsters 6-8 times a day.
We give the discus all kinds of food: bloodworms, mysis, krill, artemia, spirulina flakes, beefheartmix etc.
